Here's how screwed up the save stat is.

Kevin Brown just became the 101st person to win 200 games. That barely puts him on the all-time list. John Smoltz has been a closer for just three years and yet his 111 saves put him tied for 86th on the all-time list.

This means it took Brown 17 years to get to 101st and it took Smoltz just 3 years to get to 86th.
