Bronson Arroyo - Ace in the Making?

Overlooked in the Red Sox second half run has been the emergence of Bronson Arroyo - who is right now probably the third best starter on the Red Sox staff. Consider the following:

Arroyo has a 4.23 ERA (16th in the AL), a 1.28 WHIP (9th in the AL) and as a starter he has averaged 6.15 innings per start. If you compare Arroyo to players who have made at least 2/3's of their appearances as starters then - Baltimore, Tampa Bay, Toronto (although Lilly and Batista are close), Detroit, and Seattle have no starter who can match Arroyo's numbers.

On the Yankees - only Brown, Vazquez and Orlando Hernandez can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the Twins - only Santana and Radke can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the White Sox - only Buerle can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the Indians - only Westbrook and Sabathia can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the Royals - only Greinke can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the Angels - only Escobar can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the A's - only Hudson and Mulder can match or better Arroyo's stats.
On the Rangers - only Drese can match or better Arroyo's stats.

Of the pitchers named above only Santana, Buerle, Westbrook, Sabathia, Greinke, and Mulder are the same age or younger than Arroyo. Now I'm not saying that Arroyo is better than this group of young pitchers but I am saying that it is time his name is included with this group.
