Presidential Odds

Last Saturday the odds changed to -$225 on President Bush and +$175 on John Kerry. This means that you would have had to risk $225 to win $100 on Bush but just risk $100 to win $175 on Kerry.

I'm not sure when the line changed but the new odds are Bush -$250 and Kerry +$200. This means that you would have had to risk $250 to win $100 on Bush but just risk $100 to win $200 on Kerry.

I think that if the debates weren't coming up then the bookies would have taken this bet off the board (because it is turning into a sure thing - even at the long odds).
