When I heard that a member of the Washington press corps who was best known for tossing softball questions to Presidents on the same ideological wavelength was fired because they ran gay porno web sites on the side - well I was sure the story was going to be about Helen Thomas.

Turns out it was Jeff Gannon from Talon News.
