Player Comparison

I just found this amusing:

Jason Bay 2010 - .261 BA / .352 OBP / .410 SLG / .762 OPS
Daniel Nava 2010 - .285 BA / .385 OBP / .456 SLG / .840 OPS

This is a perfect example of a small sample size but I'm amused by the thought that if Bay was putting up Nava's numbers in Boston or New York then people would be OK with him. If Bay was putting up the numbers he has with the Mets in Boston - the talk shows would be screaming for Theo to replace him and crucifying Theo for re-signing him in the first place.

EDIT: Just saw this tweet:
@GlobeChadFinn Jason Bay has two fewer homers than Bill Hall and as many as Darnell McDonald.
