I fall into the camp of making art for art's sake. Writing is considered an art but I would be hard pressed to say that what I do either here or on Substack is "art." Never mind if it is any good.
That said - part of Gaiman's message is to keep going - persevere. Making art (good or otherwise) helps with that.
Good, as in objectively good?
