This Texas Tech thing is merely the logical result of the confluence of legalized sports betting and the complete monetization of college football. The NCAA has been, and will continue to be, useless and out of date.
Agree on both points. Legalizing betting did not make it better. It just made athletes more litigious. Where do you think all that NIL money is coming from?
