Exhibit A Why Dan Shaughnessy is an idiot

Chinless Dan writes, "Why does this stuff always happen with the Red Sox? Why can't it just be about the baseball? Even for one day." Maybe because people like you need to write nasty stories about the Red Sox to perpetuate some sort of doom and gloom mentality?

Yes Pedro Martinez left Sunday's game early and frankly I don't blame him. Pedro only gave up two earn runs in 6 innings but he knew he would have to answer idiot questions about "what's wrong Pedro" from the knights of the keyboard like Shaughnessy. This isn't Roger Clemens (who Dan always sticks up for) disrespecting Butch Hobson. This was game one and already the sky is falling for the writer many call Shagnasty.
