The NCAA Is Going To Trial Over Traumatic Brain Injuries

Next week the pre-trial proceedings in Alana Gee vs NCAA begins.  Alana Gee is the widow of Matthew Gee who played for USC between 1988 and 1992, who died in 2018 and whose autopsy showed CTE. The widow is suing the NCAA for wrongful death and negligence.

This lawsuit, if lost by the NCAA, could cost hundreds of millions and would lead to many, many similar lawsuits. People were worried about how NIL (Name Image and Likeness) would impact the college game but this lawsuit poses a much greater danger to the game. Don't overlook this lawsuit.

With this issue, Trans crap, paying players etc. I would be happy to see big time college sports just go away.
