- A black man discovers country music. I didn't discover country music until later in life either. It's what you're exposed to when younger that generally makes up your taste in music.

I remember listening to the radio when a DJ was trying unsuccessfully to convince Charley Pride was a black man. Caller just wasn't having any of it. "But he CAN'T be black and sound like that!"
