Twenty years ago the Boston Red Sox finally broke the 86-year old curse and won a 4-0 sweep of the World Series against Saint Louis.
A poignant reminder.
Nobody in Boston even talks about a curse these days. It's a faded memory. But not Wake - he lives on in the hearts of many.
