If you're a fan of author John Le Carre (real name David Cornwell - you learn something new every day) then this article should be of interest to you. The article is supposed to be a review of two new biographies of John le Carre (aka David Cornwell) but is really how le Carre showed the British establishment from the outsider's point of view which opened the window into that world for the reader.
I have to admit I have a soft spot in my heart for the book Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy but more so for the movie. Tinker, Tailor is one of those movies that I'll stop and watch every time I come across it while scrolling through my options. What a great cast in that flick.
