I agree with the fitness regimen but with an important caveat: after a certain age , one must keep injury potential in mind.
ReplyDeleteI’m 76 yrs old, weigh 140 lbs, and can bench press my weight once. But in training twice a week, three sets of ten reps each, I usually top out on the press at 100 lbs. Routinely pushing it harder risks shoulder injury, which I’ve leaned by experience.
The important part: one gets nowhere when one does nothing.

Yes - just doing something is the key. Another key is even if you had a bad day yesterday and did nothing - don't let that affect today. Do something - keep moving. You'll miss it when it's gone.
