Yesterday my interest in the Boston Bruins may have died as the team went for a full rebuild including trading away captain and soul of the team Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers. I haven't been this upset with the team since they traded away Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks. That time I tried to cancel NESN only to learn that I'd have to cancel my entire cable package because it was all bundled together. Now that I've cut the cord - I just stop watching Bruins games altogether.

The US House of Representatives voted to censure Rep Al Green for interrupting President's Trump's behavior 224 to 198. This included 10 Democrats that voted YEA. Wonder if these 10 Democrats saw how badly their behavior was polling and did a Zelensky in voting for censure? Would be interesting to see how many of these 10 are from districts that voted for Trump and are now worried about re-election.

Wrote this two years ago and in hindsight I'm struck by how the parallels between the two were so obvious:
Joe Biden and his State Department signing the US on to the UN's Pandemic Accord smacks of Woodrow Wilson and his State Department signing the US up for the League of Nations. Which was not ratified by Congress and was therefore relegated to the dustbin of history. What's next for Biden? A massive stroke which puts Jill Biden secretly in the place of acting President?
The UN Pandemic Accord was never ratified by Congress and the treaty deadline passed with little fanfare and to add insult to injury - President Trump has pulled the US out of the WHO which wrote the treaty. Meanwhile, it wasn't a stroke that put First Lady Jill Biden in charge but instead rapidly declining mental ability.
Worthy of a longer post but like many people right now I just want to forget Woodrow Wilson or Joe Biden ever happened. But if I ever do write something I hope to use more skill than shown in the quoted paragraph above.

The Chargers have released Joe Bosa for salary cap purposes and while he's rumored to be reuniting with brother Nick and the 49ers - could the Patriots sign him? They easily have the money for both Bosa and WR Devontae Adams. While big name hunting is the way to win the offseason - signing B level free agents is the way dynasties are built. Have to remind myself of that.
