It's revealing that a story of how the American people were lied to and nuclear war was risked remains behind a paywall for the NYT and Matt Taibbi's Racket makes the story free. It's as if one is prioritizing dollars over journalism.

Dissolving Illusions

An eye opening look at vaccines: "...by the 1950's when the whooping cough vaccine was introduced, data showed that whooping cough was killing only 1 percent of the numbers of people who used to die in England and Wales 50 years before.

Official data showed that the same happened with measles."

"The enforcement of the compulsory smallpox vaccination law in 1867, when the death rate was already falling was accompanied in the deaths from 100 to 400 deaths per million."

Many have heard the old saw that people don't go to the hospital to get healthy. This book is making me wonder if people get vaccines in order to get healthy either. Covid-19 and the controversial "jabs" certainly don't help vaccines image. Too early in the book to form more of an opinion but I will keep you posted.

The NCAA March Madness championship game Monday night is set - Florida vs Houston. Both teams overcame big halftime deficits to get the chance to cut down the nets - the Gators vs Auburn and the Cougars against Duke. Good luck to both!

You could do little Trump Economy cartoons where the Voltron-like hero fights a new foe (China, corporate media, the DNC, Big Pharma, etc.).

Trump's Tariffs

Donald Trump unveiled a new tariff doctrine on April 2nd providing the message (and I paraphrase), "If you have been over charging our country - you're going to be hit with higher tariffs." 

Reminder Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Bernie Sanders in the past all gave speeches in favor of reciprocal tariffs. You can hear all these speeches preserved on the Internet. This reminds me how everyone was voting to move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem but only President Trump actually did it. Only Trump made what he's calling reciprocal tariffs a reality.

The saying used to be, "It's the economy stupid!" Now it well may be, "It's the tariffs stupid!"
