Some conflicting reports on this story. One report says Judge delays Twitter trial, gives Elon Musk time to seal buyout by October 28th. That story states that "Twitter disputed Musk's claim that the San Francisco=based company is refusing to accept his renewed bid."
Another story says Twitter refuses Elon Musk's renewed $44 billion bid. "In a court filing, Elon Musk's attorneys said, 'Twitter will not take yes for an answer.'"
My guess is that Twitter is willing to accept the $44 billion deal, already approved by their board, but is insisting on inserting some conditions on the deal. Musk's attorney's don't want any new conditions and view these as a refusal of the deal.
Some day this whole drama would make a great HBO miniseries.
