Engineered Bacteria Could Increase Corn Yields

Potentially big news for farmers as gene-edited microbe could reduce need for synthetic fertilizer in half. Could also greatly reduce the groundwater pollution from the runoff of that fertilizer after rain storms.

Good news for most people but a conundrum from people who are both anti-GMO and also anti-pollution.
