"Another was was the official CIA liaison to the group, Richard Helms, soon to become the agencies director."

You also had proven CIA asset Jolly West asking to included in the evaluation of Jack Ruby and Ruby's "break from reality" immediately after a private meeting with West. That's the book that should be written and I would be interested in seeing a Little Big Man crossed with Manchurian Candidate type movie with Jack Black playing Jolly West.

Ultimately, the release of the documents is not just about confirming or not confirming whether a conspiracy theory is true. It's about whether the government lied about what it knew.

Yes the government lied and continues to lie. It's what politicians and government officials do. And when Elon Musk jokes about not riding around in any open air parades any time soon - he's only half joking (with good reason).
