Never Open an Attachment from Someone You Don't Know

Kasperski experts have uncovered a series of attacks by Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actor BlueNoroff against small and medium sized companies worldwide resulting in major cryptocurrency losses for the victims.

NEVER open an attachment from someone you don't know. And even if you know them if it seems like an odd request or oddly worded email - check with that person to see if they actually sent the attachment before opening.

And to make trust even more scarce - since the war in Ukraine started the US has blacklisted Kasperski anti-virus as a threat to national security.
