ReplyDeleteAmazon: Yep, I got a message welcoming me to the ad-free group and at $2.99. Wait a damned minute -- I never said I want that service under the unilaterally new terms and certainly not to PAY FOR IT! I had to FIND it and then actively opt out of it. Bullshit business ethics for sure.
I've been Amazon Prime for years and got an email giving me a choice and haven't noticed much different. But I did check on what I'm paying a year and its $139. Think it was just $89 when I signed up but that was over a decade ago.
