Parents Are Not Domestic Terrorists

"Showing up to dress down school boards over their dereliction of duty isn't a crime. It's good parenting and good citizenship."

First off - shame on the FBI; shame on Merrick Garland; and shame on the Biden Administration.

Second off - kudos off to the author who actually was a person in this arena serving "two consecutive terms on Manhattan's largest school board."  I admit that I have neither the time nor the inclination to run for public office such as a school board but I also see the need for concerned parents to get involved by running for these posts. Many parents will also take a more active stance in their child's education by pulling them from public schools. Home schools, charter schools, and private school enrollment will boom in the next couple of years.

Educational funding going to parents and not school districts is bound to become one of the more important issues in upcoming elections. Candidates will have to support educational funding going directly to parents to earn my vote. The more people who feel that way and the more vocal they make their feelings known - the more likely real change to how our kids are being educated can be effected.
