Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Was not aware of the history regarding the Black Tom 1916 bombing.

The biggest pot distributor in California has collapsed. The California system is setting companies up to fail. (HT The View from Lady Lake)

- Most of OpenAI's employees send letter to board tell them to resign or else. Interesting. As Paul Graham put it, "If 95% doesn't count as a vote of no confidence, what number would?"

- Donald Trump and Truth Social file suit for defamation against 20 media companies. The dam of lies is breaking!

  1. That Black Tom story had the explosive weight out by a factor of about 2000.
Other sources said it was 2 million pounds not tons.
Still a big bunger though, and interesting that the Germans thought it would be a good idea to piss off the worlds industrial super power.

  2. Prior to WW I the USA was not considered a super power - either economically or militarily by the rest of the world. That all changed after the war. We were truly a sleeping giant back then.
