The Wager

Currently reading the book The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder by David Grann. I'm just at the part of the shipwreck just off the coast of Patagonia in the Pacific near the Bay of Pain. Nealy 250 men and boys left England nearly a month before but just 145 survived to be beached. Most dying terrible deaths. So far very well written and hope to finish the book this week.

This is the same author of Killers of the Flower Moon and may have to add that to my list.

If it's as good as Nathaniel Philbrick's In the Heart of the Sea about the whaler Essex, I'm in. THAT was a great book! Thanks for the tip, Chris.
