All of the talk of former President Bill Clinton's "support" of Barack Obama has made me think of Teddy Roosevelt who said in 1898 of then President William McKinley that he had "no more backbone than a chocolate eclair." But of course I'm sure that in the next breath Roosevelt would say that he supports McKinley. In the strange bedfellows department - McKinley then turned around and made Roosevelt his choice for VP in the 1900 election.
All of which made me think of the strange bedfellows aspect of Clinton and Obama. Of course if Clinton made the "chocolate eclair" remark about Obama - he'd be called a racist.
