Happy Super Bowl Monday - hope your hangover is manageable. None of my pool squares hit so if you could Subscribe, hit the Like button, or share with others that will help decrease my disappointment. Thanks in advance.
Reluctantly sat down to watch the super bowl. Got as far as the black national anthem, turned it off. It's subtle, but we are witness to the end of this nation.
ReplyDeleteYou missed a great rendition of the National Anthem by Chris Stapleton then
ReplyDeleteWow, I would have thought the national anthem would be too racist to be performed at the super bowl? Almost as offensive as using the word America on a university campus.
DeleteI saw Marvin Hagler fight Kevin Finnegan in 1978 in the Boston Garden. I think I still have the ticket stub. My Dad and I were about ringside, or awfully close. Each ticket was $10.00 and they walked right by us in the aisle. They called the fight a TKO after 8 rounds, Finnegan's face was a mess, I will never forget that. Hagler was in the early stages of his career, he was tough.
