- Patriot's Isiah Bolden injured and Patriots / Packers game suspended in 4th quarter. Was watching the game just prior to the injury but stopped so as surprised to learn of it.
- The New Nuclear Moment. Put me on Team Nuclear Power. From 2021 but still relevant,
Am I just a curmudgeon, or are there too many millenials in football? Are we going to suspend every game every time someone gets hurt?
ReplyDeleteChris - on the fence about this. Played tackle football for longer than I can remember and also can't remember a game being stopped because of weather or any other reason (and I'm in New England). That said - there was no reason to continue the game after Darryl Stingley was paralyzed - so though surprised by the suspension don't have a problem..

ReplyDeleteFunny I saw it live and don't remember either (I was young). Don't think they suspended it but do remember that John Madden was the only coach to visit Stingley in his hospital room - and he was from the opposing team!
