Or Jimmy Stewart's Cure for Bad Eyesight
As a reminder when Jimmy Stewart was "never born" and wasn't having kids - the Donna Reed character needed glasses. My favorite overlooked aspect of the movie. (Via)
And on the TV brings it into your living room side, I remember when married couples couldn't be seen on TV in the same beds (remember all the twin beds?) and women were not allowed to smoke or drink alcohol on TV.
And now were so far beyond even the 60s that the "F" word is in almost common use by people "of stature" and who are supposedly in command of the English language.
Before my time but think Lucy was the first pregnant woman shown on TV and it was actually the Flintstones who were the the first married couple with a double bed. They needed a cartoon couple to break that taboo.
It wasn't till Archie Bunker in the 70's that TV showed what a toilet was really for.
