I'm not surprised that people say they can't taste the difference. The bun, the lettuce and tomato and the sauce are all the same. Plus the Impossible Burger is grilled on the same grill that has the juices of thousands of real burgers broiled onto them searing the Impossible Burger with charred meat goodness.
Then on top of that people I'm sure are also eating it with their fries and soda - so the meal is 90% the same as if they had a Whopper instead.
As an aside I'm a big fan of delicious lamb. Wouldn't it make good marketing sense for someone like Wendy's to counter the Burger King Impossible Burger with the Ecologically Friendly Lamb Burger? Much smaller carbon footprint than a cow. I'd buy that.
