Ward Bond was the star of Wagon Train, a family favorite. I vaguely remember the association with John Wayne, thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteNever saw Wagon Train but Ward always was the second or third lead in many great movies like The Quiet Man, The Maltese Falcon, and It's a Wonderful Life. I've seen those movies so many times that Ward Bond has just become associated with them in my mind.
