Big stuff in our limited entertainment world when I was a kid in the 50s and 60s -- when TV cameras were behemoths on dollies and the cameras had humongous lens turrets on the front. ONLY thing real was when a "wrestler" lost control of the metal folding chair he was swinging outside the ring and creamed the lenses. I don't believe I actually watched that stuff for as long as I did before realizing how deep the fake was.
