The second item reminds me of a Robert Sheckley story "The Same to You Doubled." It's a genie-grants-a-wish story but the catch is that your worst enemy gets double whatever you wish for, which is intolerable. But the protagonist resolves this dilemma in a brilliant way . . .

Worse . . . he asks for a woman (to be his wife) who is smart, beautiful, and whose sexual appetite is *exactly* as much as he can handle.
