Kurt Vonnegut was just another despicable communist, albeit one who wrote a popular anti-war novel. I read "Slaughterhouse 5" as a teen. It was a ridiculous, incoherent story, but told in a very readable fashion.
Have always been amused by how Vonnegut would give his own take on the definitions of certain words. So amused that I contemplated writing a Vonnegut dictionary at one point compiling all those unique definitions. To this day I can't see the words "spread-eagle." without thinking of Vonnegut's definition from Breakfast of Champions
