Two stories about modern medicine have me worried:
- Scary! Assuming this is just "sports supplements" and not Omega 3 fish oils and things like Vitamin D. Or am I wrong? Should I be ordering from only Onnit just to be safe?
- Supplements aren't the only things that are dodgy - medicine is plagued by untrustworthy clinical trials. If you thought randomized clinical trials were the gold standard - think again.
Having spent 40+ years in the american "healthcare" system, having lived in the land ruled by the "
ReplyDeletepooh" man 3+ years (teaching at university level, icluding one stint at a medical university), I believe most would be astounded at how much they have infiltrated all aspects of "america", including medicines, supplies, equipment and even "waste". I chose to adopt this attitude- if I don't produce or have full faith and personal knowledge of every person involved in producing Anything that enters my body,
I avoid it.
the level of evil is far more pervasive and "subtil" than most can believe.
it's nearly impossible to find evidence online of what i speak, as the "soft" censorship is so vast.
fwiw...
Thank you. Had the feeling that knowing how the sausage is made would put me off eating sausage.
ReplyDeleteI try eating only real food - nothing processed. Now, sadly, will have to adopt that same attitude toward supplements. Guessing the best I could do is only buy from Onnit because I think Joe Rogan and Aubrey Marcus have the same attitudes toward putting anything in their bodies.
