Geez - I had that Jethro Tull Christmas record as an LP! Ian Anderson is mostly self taught, his story is very interesting. Also of note, the top flute makers : Haynes, Powell and Nagahara are all from the Boston area. James Galway's wife Jeanne is also a fabulous flute player, by the way. Haynes and Powell were customers of my old company as they used our lathes to produce their flutes. A fun post of an amazing talent.
