Here's a thought to throw out there - how about the Braves as a possible home for Nomar Garciaparra next year? Garciaparra and a young outfielder would cost the Braves less than resigning Rafael Furcal (who is having just an awful year) and JD Drew. The Braves could have a net payroll savings and also bring in a big name to help keep the fickle Atlanta Braves fans happy (not to mention the TBS ratings Nomar might help with).

Keep in mind that Nomar is a Georgia Tech alumni.
