There's a certain irony in McCloskey's quote. McCloskey is, "herself", one of the myriad architects of a hellish world. "She" is a transgender "woman" and a ferocious advocate of transgenderism. So much so that "she" attempted to destroy the career, via lawsuits and trumped-up allegations of professional misconduct, of a man who wrote a book she disapproved of (J. Michael Bailey, "The Man Who Would Be Queen"). Bailey was a professor of psychology at Northwestern; in his book he shows how much gender dysphoria is rooted in sexual fetishes. McCloskey tried to get him fired from his post and defrocked as a psychologist. "Her" viciousness has had a profound chilling effect on people expressing the slightest reservations about transgender dogma. So much for free speech; the lunatics are running the asylum and we are, indeed, going to hell.
