Nice piece on the state of the Fourth Estate in this country. "There seems to be no journalistic curiosity anymore and the news outlets only care about fluff pieces or the surface layer of a story."
Growing up the mantra for journalists was "follow the money" but not anymore because the truth of where the money comes from may damage a sacred cow politician or narrative. This couldn't be any more evident than in the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Agree 100% with the conclusions of the post. As an Independent voter who tends to vote D in local elections and R in national ones - I feel this bias from the corporate media and coddling of Democratic politicians leads to much weaker candidates who cannot hold up against any sort of pushback or scrutiny.
This is how you wind up with Kamala Harris as Vice President.
