Things are so bad in Venezuela that they are forced to buy oil from the US. Reading that article reminded me of this commercial.
Joe Kennedy's grandfather (and namesake) was one of the great capitalists of the past century and because of that all the Kennedy's are worth millions. The confluence of events makes me rethink my position on estate taxes - would Joe Kennedy think socialism was so great if he was forced to make his own way instead of being born with a net worth in the high 7 or 8 figures?
I still think the estate tax is bad because every parent should be able to leave the results of a life of hard work to their kids. But damn the Kennedy's... well just damn the Kennedy's.
