I have a copy and it is a difficult read. Darwin was a Victorian academic and as a result his sentences are long and often verbose. Also he was writing the book for his fellow naturalists to read. He refers to theories and studies by contemporary naturalists referring to them by last name only expecting the reader to already be aware of them. Al_in_Ottawa

You're a better man than me. I keep telling myself I'm going to read the book but I know I'm not going to.
