Bastogne


On this day in 1944, the 101st Airborne is surrounded at Bastogne. Here's VDH on the Battle of the Bulge from a couple of years ago. Guessing the 101st Airborne may argue over the importance of General Patton coming to their "rescue."

    Was Monty responsible for the Battle of the Bulge? Know he was responsible for the disaster of Operation Market Garden but wasn't aware of his involvement here.

    If you're saying "Fucking Monty" in a general way - then I agree :)
