Interesting update on SpaceX's Starlink broadband speeds:
The median download speed seen by users of SpaceX Starlink satellite broadband in the U.S. in the third quarter was 87.25 Mbps, according to Okkla, provider of a widely used speed test app. That was a decline from the second quarter, when Starlink users saw a median download speed of 97.23 Mbps.
Common sense tells you that the more congested a network gets the slower it goes but a 10% drop is significant. How much will these speeds degrade is the question. Also, equally or more importantly, is the question of upload speeds which was not addressed in the update.
