Variety - Inside China and Hollywood's Frayed Relationship

A second major Hollywood news source talks about China no longer being a cash cow for Hollywood.

"...2022 will be a chapter marked not only by bilateral friction between superpowers, but by the Chinese film industry's decoupling from the broader global film industry as a whole, as the country turns inward under President Xi Jinping."

Found the use of the word "decoupling" interesting. Any US firm still doing business with China should already be decoupling. It also seems Hollywood has awoken to the fact that Winnie the Pooh Xi Jinping will only allow domestically produced propaganda.

Maybe Hollywood will go back to making films that weren't America hating? Don't hold your breath.
