Today's offering includes thoughts on the NFL, and the NBA, but the real headline is on how the Somali fraud case in Minnesota has become headline news. This is mainly due to the work of YouTuber Nick Shirley who got roughly 10-times the views of his post exposing the fraud as 60 Minutes normally gets in a week. The dam truly broke on this story this weekend and it feels like there's no more holding back.

Flores isn't getting another head coaching job. When he was let go in Miami, instead of saying "thanks for the opportunity," he accused the team of being racist. Can't imagine another team being dumb enough to hire him after that.
ReplyDeleteThe Rooney rule and arranging interviews with blacks like Flores just to satisfy the league requirement is defacto discrimination. He probably won't get another head coaching job but that doesn't mean he's not a worthy coach and deserving.
