Maybe They Were Funded by USAID Too?

  1. I seem to recall reading somewhere that according to the NOAA, and contrary to the claims of climate alarmists, the number and destructive power of hurricanes has *not* increased over the last century (as verified by satellite observations for at least half of that period). What seems to be happening is that when we have an active hurricane season in the Atlantic, the number of storms in the Pacific (i.e., typhoons) decreases correspondingly -- and vice versa. Thus the total energy unleashed by Northern Hemisphere storms remains roughly constant over time.

  2. That makes sense - a conservation of energy hurricane style.
