More Linky Links

More stuff I  found interesting or amusing.

- Congressman urges NFL to release findings on Daniel Snyder. He's not going away - and neither is Jon Gruden's lawsuit.

- Bud Light and Dylan Mulvaney - the gift that keeps on giving. (HT View from Lady Lake)

- What was drug use like in Viking culture?

- James Garner - an appreciation. Garner was one of my favorite actors.

Linky Links

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Cheating is becoming the norm in college. Combined with rampant grade inflation and you have college degrees becoming increasingly worthless.

- The successful man's path to lasting satisfaction,

- Matt Ridley on how the virus probably came from a lab in Wuhan and how the clampdown on honest debate has been nothing short of shameful. Refusing to call it the Wuhan Virus was also shameful.

- How a disputed $55 million loan plays into the fed's investigation of Daniel Snyder and the Commanders. Fascinating read on how a potentially fraudulently obtained $55 million loan could send Snyder to jail and maybe end Roger Goodell's tenure as Commissioner (Goodell approved the transaction).

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- What "Impossible" meant to Richard Feynman.

- Reportedly Jeff Bezos did not submit a bid for the Washington Commanders. More interesting is the idea that its because Dan Snyder will not sell to Bezos because of the way the Washington Post has treated him.

- How can we trust the institutions that lied about Covid? The answer is - you can't and you shouldn't ever again.

Jon Gruden's Lawsuit Against the NFL

Unless the NFL has a successful appeal, a judge has ruled that Jon Gruden's lawsuit against the NFL may proceed. This means, "Documents and other information will be requested by Gruden. Depositions of key individuals, such as [Roger] Goodell and Commanders owner Daniel Snyder, will be arranged."

This is the last thing either the NFL or Daniel Snyder need right now. Here's hoping that Gruden follows through on this lawsuit and doesn't settle for the millions the NFL will surely offer to prevent their secret dealings from being revealed to the public.
