- Francis Ford Coppola was burned out and suggested Martin Scorsese as a replacement.
- The movie is both a prequel (Robert DeNiro) and a sequel (Al Pacino)

Flotsam and Jetsam
Miscellaneous thoughts and observations.
The trumpet of the Delta variant being the most deadly will be sounded the loudest by the media outlets suffering the worst ratings and circulations declines (looking at you CNN and The Atlantic)... Poverty was reduced by 80% in just 20-years and it wasn't communism or socialism... It just may be that the best screenplays written by Francis Ford Coppola and Quentin Tarantino were for movies they did not direct. Coppola with Patton and Tarantino for True Romance... Still say someone should come out with an a fantasy football app where if an NFL player on your roster kneels during the National Anthem then your player is not eligible for any points that week. Think there's a demand for such an app... Very cool... In accordance with my last will and testament - I have two final requests...

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- Steven Pressfield: Francis Ford Coppola on Re-writing. I remember Gardens of Stone as a pretty good movie though I haven't seen it in decades.
- Interesting - MySpace Tom got it right.
- Victor Davis Hanson: Why does the Left hate Israel?
- Tesla's Elon Musk comes through for UFC's Beneil Dariush. "Elon time" is a real problem though.
