- Biden lied about everything, including nuclear risk, during Ukraine war. It's revealing that a story of how the American people were lied to and nuclear war was risked remains behind a paywall for the NYT and Matt Taibbi's Racket makes the story free. It's as if one is prioritizing dollars over journalism.

Reminder Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Bernie Sanders in the past all gave speeches in favor of reciprocal tariffs. You can hear all these speeches preserved on the Internet. This reminds me how everyone was voting to move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem but only President Trump actually did it. Only Trump made what he's calling reciprocal tariffs a reality.
The saying used to be, "It's the economy stupid!" Now it well may be, "It's the tariffs stupid!"
Think the word "reciprocal" is incorrect. In many cases these tariffs are only roughly half of what US goods are being charged. (Via)

The US and other nations have known Donald Trump plans to implement reciprocal tariffs for a long time. It was even something he ran for President on. Do people think he didn't really mean it? Or have they become so used to treating the US unfairly that anything new seems unfair? Either way - April 2nd has been dubbed Liberation Day. These tariffs are supposed to be effective immediately. And these are to go along with tariffs he's already announced.
The Liberation Day tariffs are scheduled to be announced today, April 2nd at 4:00 PM.
