AG Pam Bondi vs Senate Democrats

The Democrats under Barack Obama used to preach to "punch back twice as hard." At today's Senate hearing AG Pam Bondi took that advice to heart and wasn't taking any guff from any of the morally questionable Democratic Senators.

The Democratic Senators may have been trying to get AG Pam Bondi to tie President Trump to Jeffrey Epstein or admit to some sort of political revenge but Pam Bondi punched back twice as hard. All the Democrats did was remind people the government shutdown was their fault and that while Joe Biden was in power they never said "boo" about Jeffrey Epstein, Russiagate, or any of the law breaking going on.

US Military Destroys Drug Boat

The US military destroyed a boat carrying drugs in international water out of Venezuela. All 11 crew of the boat were killed. Supposedly all 11 were members of the Tren de Aragua terrorist organization. Of interest nobody seems to be challenging that the boat was carrying illegal drugs or that the crew were members of Tren de Aragua.

- Conservative Karol Nawrocki won Poland's presidential runoff - 50.89% to 49.11%. Can you imagine the AP's headline if the results were reversed?

- Trump Administration is betting on Alaskan energy. Don't underestimate the energy needs of AI data centers in South Korea or Japan. Guessing these announcements wouldn't be made if deals weren't already worked out.

The US and other nations have known Donald Trump plans to implement reciprocal tariffs for a long time. It was even something he ran for President on. Do people think he didn't really mean it? Or have they become so used to treating the US unfairly that anything new seems unfair? Either way - April 2nd has been dubbed Liberation Day. These tariffs are supposed to be effective immediately. And these are to go along with tariffs he's already announced.

The Liberation Day tariffs are scheduled to be announced today, April 2nd at 4:00 PM.

Donald Trump - the Happy Warrior

Donald Trump learned many lessons in his first term in office but the two most powerful are A: to share the spotlight by letting others take the credit (and the risks) and B: to surround yourself with likeminded, capable, loyal people.

Amusing that an athlete as wholesome and "aww shucks" as Tom Brady has a motto of "let's fucking go!"... A cute way to describe the GameStop situation... I guess that the Rams REALLY wanted to get rid of Jared Goff and his contract. They traded Goff and two first round picks along with a third round pick to the Lions for Matthew Stafford. This was a salary dump as much as anything... What is up the the Japanese?... Spherical Bastards would be a good name for a band (bastards no matter what angle you look at them)... My biggest disappointment of the Trump Administration is that he never follow through on the purchase of Greenland...
