Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- She's not wrong. The system was not broken over night and it won't be fixed over night either.

- Ben Shapiro on 4 big questions about Biden's health cover-up.

- The Left Hand Rule. Fascinated by the concept of anti-matter.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- SBA institutes new measures to prevent fraud and waste from illegals, children, and the dead. All thanks to information uncovered by DOGE. Most Americans say, "Wait - you weren't doing this already?"

- With all the news about tariffs the new tolls being applied to Chinese shipping may have just as big ramifications. They even apply to firms with just one ship being built in China. Think this will be used as leverage in upcoming tariffs talks.

- Amphibian Love Songs. That would also be a good name for a band. (HT Recommendo)

- Sam Altman on Productivity. Good advice but remember it's not a one size fits all.

- Was it a shock that most of the fraud came from California, New York, and Massachusetts?

- About that Mexico-US treaty. Is this a negotiation tool by Trump to get Mexico to agree to drones to monitor the water (that also search for armed cartel members).

- Excellent look at some of the strategy and history behind the Trump Tariffs.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- The taking down of the Department of Education. "The Department will to continue to administration Pell Grants, Title I funding, and resources for children with disabilities and special needs."

- VDH: The Left knew they were lying to us all along. They destroyed trust in the process.

- Did acting head of Social Security Michelle King quit before she was fired? A report by DOGE found over $72 billion is fraudulent checks being cut by Social Security begging the questions - what did Michelle King know and when did she know it?

- Three cheers for the third places. Used to call these places remote offices - whether it be independent coffee shops (not a fan of Starbucks), my gym with free Wi-Fi, certain cigar bars, or others. Big fan.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Modern war tells us to get used to disappointment. "The best Ukraine can hope for is a result similar to the deal Russia reportedly offered before all the killing started: Crimea and the Donbas to Russia; no to Kyiv joining NATO; yes to Ukrainian membership in the European Union."

- 5 Reasons Men Spend so Much Time Thinking about the Roman Empire. I don't have any Raman themed T-shirts but I do like reading books about Rome.

- Great work by Data Republican on how politically connected NGO's are taking 90% of the tax dollars. I've been following her for a while - she does great work.

- ACC nearing resolution with Clemson and FSU to end litigation.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Exhibit B on why the Department of Education should just be ended. (Exhibit A is the fact that test scores have gone in the toilet since they were created.)

- Bridget Phetasy caught in the crossfire of the culture wars.

- Forecasting the future of the West. Another possibility is a big backlash.

- The upcoming 4th year of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Why cutting government spending is so tough in the first place. Sadly true.

- The USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) got bumped (ugly). I agree both that it's worrying that a new low-tech targeting method may have been revealed and that even if they are targets we need more aircraft carriers.

- The leadership grace of coach Buzz Williams. Good advice!

- Jonathan Turley: Critics prove Vance's point on anti-free speech movement. The pro free speech message needs to be repeated as often and as loudly as possible.
