- Excess savings and putting away what you don't spend. I was not a fan of the book Die with Zero and seems those recommending the book are all super wealthy. - The Top 10 States by Average Net Worth. Ironic that these are all "blue" states where the taxes are also probably the highest and where people complain about income inequality the most.
- How "Crisis of the Day" became "Crisis of the Moment." Think part of Trump's strategy is to maintain a pace so fast that even clickbait media can't keep up.
- Pentagon officials caught using taxpayer funded credit cards at casinos, bars, and clubs. If there's proof someone was misusing a government credit card - that person should be fired. No exceptions.
- Three more topics President Trump will probably speak about tonight: this investment by TSMC - campus protests - and how unfair restrictions and tariffs on US products will no longer be tolerated.

- The USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) got bumped (ugly). I agree both that it's worrying that a new low-tech targeting method may have been revealed and that even if they are targets we need more aircraft carriers.

- The Jokes Liberals Used to Make. Proof of the facts that celebrities should never read the comments and if you try to go woke there's no lengths you can go to please some people.
- The utility of math. Hope this link works. Fan of math (not very good at it but wanting to be better).
- Argument that DOGE is good but not good enough. I argue that DOGE is a great start. A good plan executed today is always better than a perfect plan executed sometime in the future.

- Space junk is a problem that's just going to get worse. Cleaning up junk in space is much more needed than cleaning up garbage in the ocean (though both are needed).

- DOGE is basically using AI as a force multiplier. No wonder the Biden Administration wanyed government control of AI.
- Elon Musk proposes some common sense changes to the government payment system. These are common sense but question is why they haven't already been implemented.

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.
- The best antidepressant. We all know we need to exercise more often.
- Congress funded $516 billion on expired programs in 2024. And there's 251 more that are set to expire in 2025.
- Look at the wasteful spending to universities. That's almost 26% of the grant money and you can be sure all of these universities receiving grants were towing the government lines across the board.
